Duty Manager - The Prince Consort

JOB DESCRIPTION

Redcape Hospitality has excitingly acquired The Prince Consort Hotel in Fortitude Valley as of the 24th of February 2025 and want to get on the front foot in terms of recruitment. We are seeking experienced, passionate, committed hospitality professionals to join our Venue Leadership Team as one of our Assistant/Duty Managers successfully running the Hotel's operations in a hands-on role (including both FOH & BOH duties). 

 

Duties and Responsibilities

The purpose of this role is to work cohesively as a member of the Venue Leadership Team, who take carriage of general hotel operations, driving performance, executing strategic initiatives and improving/sustaining both Customer & Staff Experience.  The key responsibilities for this role will include:

  • Leading a variety of internal teams as we strive to offer extraordinary customer experiences.
  • Ensuring we maintain exceptional venue standards in relation to cleanliness and presentation.
  • Creating and nurturing a positive work environment so that all team members can thrive.
  • Possess flexible availability across 7 days to fulfil a variety of rotating shifts, that vary from opens, mids, closes, weekends and public holidays in line with our Hotel's operating hours.
  • RSA / RSG are required (Or willingness to obtain).
  • RMLV and Approved Manager license are preferred but not mandatory.
